Lecture Series

Water Policy Lecture

In light of our desire to engage persons beyond the debate community who have expertise that can enrich our discussions of protection of US water resources, we created this limited lecture series. Throughout the summer, we aimed to host a small number of live, hour-long lectures for an audience of about 50 persons. Access to the lecture was through invitation and was intended to capture a wide demographic of high school and collegiate students, educators and debate professionals.

2021’s topic provided the WDI a platform to engage scholars, advocates and legal professionals who have experience and intellectual contributions around the topic. In particular, our theme was Protecting Our Waters and we focused on various areas of importance for protecting US water resources.
